Swartz Family Farm is growing. With the significant increase in the number of families and individuals now joining the farm,
there has been some confusion over how our farm runs and how orders and pick-ups are handled.
Because of this, we felt the need to clarify our farm policies.
We really appreciate that you will review these policies, and we request that you respect them.
If you are a new member and have been automatically directed to this page, you will find a button at the bottom of the page, indicating that you have read and understand our policies. When you have clicked that button once, you will
be taken immediately to your order form and you will NOT be directed to this page again. Thanks!
OUR PICKUP DAYS & HOURS ARE:
TUESDAY 3 PM - 9 PM for on line orders
WEDNESDAY 3 PM - 9 PM for CSA Shares
These are the ONLY hours during which the pick-up room will be open.
Orders for Tuesday pickup must be placed by Sunday Midnight.
ALL ONLINE ORDERS MUST BE PAID FOR AT THE TIME OF PICKUP UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN PREPAID.
When you place an order,
you receive an email receipt with the order total and the pickup day
clearly specified. Please bring the total payment due with you when you come to collect your order. We DO NOT OFFER BILLING SERVICE.
If you find it inconvenient to bring payment with you
when you come to pick up your order, please open a pre-paid account.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING YOUR ORDER ON PICKUP DAY.
If you do not pick up your order, we cannot preserve it for you. Any uncollected orders will
be donated to the Amherst Survival Center. You are expected to pay for any and all items you have ordered, regardless of whether you pick them up.
YOUR REFRIGERATED AND FROZEN ITEMS ARE MARKED WITH YOUR NAME IN THE FRIDGE/FREEZER.
Please DO NOT remove any items from the refrigerator or freezers that do not have your name on them! If you wish to purchase items at the time of pickup that you have not
included in your order, you may do so ONLY if someone is there attending the pickup room and is able to accept payment for these items.
IF WE ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE AN ITEM THAT YOU HAVE ORDERED, YOUR TOTAL WILL BE ADJUSTED AND/OR YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE CREDITED.
We are sometimes unable to get items promised by our vendors, and on occasion are unable to fill a produce order from our greenhouses. This is simply the nature of
farming (and the weather in New England), and while we make every effort to fill every order, it is not always possible.
